We get to know each of you personally, and not in a distant manner as if you were another set of teeth, a chart, or just another patient. Every patient at every appointment will have our competent and attentive team giving you the best dental care in a warm and friendly manner. Dr. Graham Dersley

Dr. Dersley studied biology at the University of Michigan before completing dental school at Columbia University. He is proud to be an Ivy League alumnus. At the University of Maryland, Dr. Dersley completed a full-time 3 year residency in Prosthodontics, the specialty of treating missing and broken teeth. He has maintained his passion for knowledge and regularly pursues new information and training on innovative dental techniques. He is particularly proud of successfully treating many apprehensive patients who have avoided dental care due to anxiety or embarrassment, and giving them a smile to be proud of.

Dr. Christopher Wolf

A lifelong Terp and Maryland native, Dr. Chris Wolf graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Physiology and Neurobiology followed by completing his dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School. After dental school, Dr. Wolf worked in private practice for several years in Anne Arundel County where he received rave reviews and praises by patients for his gentle touch and caring personality. He has served on the Board of Admission for the University of Maryland Dental School and volunteers his time at the Special Olympics and Mission of Mercy Dental Clinics.

In addition to dentistry, Dr. Wolf coaches an elite lacrosse team which competes every summer in Lake Placid. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dog, Sperry.

Dr. Ellen Wolf

Dr. Ellen P. Wolf received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland. While in dental school she served as the national student representative for the American Association of Women Dentists. Also, Dr Wolf was the recipient of the Albert Schweitzer fellowship for community service and received the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award, and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics. She was nationally recognized as a featured student in the ADEA – Official Guide to Dental Schools. After dental school, Dr. Wolf completed a general practice residency caring for our veterans at the Baltimore VAMC. Dr. Wolf is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

In her free time, she enjoys cheering on her hometown team – the Steelers – and spending time with her family.

Ashley Buyer

Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene May 2009. She grew up in Memphis, TN and moved to Maryland in 2015. Dentistry has always been a passion of Ashley's. She enjoys helping patients by educating them on how to keep their smiles healthy for a lifetime.

Ashley has several hobbies including kayaking, crossfit and playing with her two dogs and cat. She is very excited about being part of Churchton Dental Care and having the opportunity to grow with the practice for many years to come.

Candace Marvin

Registered Dental Hygienist

Always interested in a health-related career, Candace started in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2002. Realizing her joy in helping others through the dental profession, she furthered her education and became a dental hygienist. While studying at Allegany College of Maryland, she received experience working with the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Federal Bureau of Prisons and now works full time in private practice. The most important aspect of her job is educating patients in a way that's understandable to the non-dental professional. Candace enjoys Churchton dental care's team atmosphere and their shared goal of caring for patients.

Sherri Fredrickson

Registered Dental Hygienist

Sherri has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years, graduating with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine. Sherri is excited to be part of the dental team, and enjoys working together to provide the best care for our patients.

Outside of work, Sherri enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Christy duCellier

Certified Dental Assistant

Christy began her career as a Dental Assistant in 2000 and worked until her son was born in 2004. She then stayed at home for 8 years and re-entered the dental field in 2013 when Churchton Dental Care opened. Christy is licensed in Radiology, Expanded-Functions Assisting, and Orthodontics. She loves meeting new patients and working with everyone in the office. She provides compassionate support to all of our patients, and thoroughly enjoys what she does.

Christy locally resides in South County with her two children.

Frankie Montoya

Certified Dental Assistant

Frankie completed a dental assistant program at Anne Arundel Community College where she received her certification as a radiological technician. Frankie enjoys being a dental assistant because helping people is her passion and she wants to help inform people about the importance of good dental care. She grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and was moved to Maryland when her husband's job transferred them to northern Calvert County where they currently reside.

Outside of work, Frankie loves spending time with her husband, watching her two little boys play sports, and going for a run with her dog Sub-Zero.

Maggie Scopel

Certified Dental Assistant

Maggie took a Dental Assisting course at Anne Arundel Community College and soon after obtained her license as a Dental Radiation Technologist. Maggie loves working hands on and being able to help others which ultimately led her in developing a strong interest in the dental field. She loves being involved with her community and has worked with many different organizations including USA Swimming as an Assistant Coach, The Autism Project as the Aquatic Coordinator, and CrossFit Merit as a Trainer.

In her spare time, Maggie enjoys many things such as hiking, going to the gym, baking, reading, and spending time with her dog, Cali.

Brandi Wiley

Certified Dental Assistant

Brandi completed the Dental Assisting program at the Center of Applied Technology South, where she received both her expanded-functions dental assisting license and radiological technician license. When she was younger, Brandi loved going to the dentist. Now as an assistant, she wants to make sure that all patients, old and young, receive the same great care that she's always received.

Outside of work, Brandi enjoys doing crafty things with her family, playing with her pets, and going to football games.

Mary Boyer

Practice Manager

Mary joined our team with over 10 years of experience providing administrative support in the medical field, specifically Primary Care and Pediatrics. Mary understands the importance of strong oral health and hygiene, and enjoys her role in ensuring that all of our patients have every resource they need to obtain that.

Outside of the office, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She grew up in Southern Anne Arundel County and loves that she and her husband are able to raise their two sons in the place she calls home.

Helena Rainey

Patient Care Coordinator

Helena has been working in the dental field for 18 years and has had experience in both the front and the back of the office. She loves being a part of putting a smile on someone’s face.

In her spare time, Helena enjoys summer outdoor activities such as crabbing, fishing, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
